Partners for Rights promotes human rights and democracy in Iran and the surrounding South West and Central Asia Region among Farsi speaking peoples. Partners for Rights is a diverse group of professionals and activists living in the region and outside who share a common commitment to broad principles of human rights and democracy. Partners for Rights has its own research, advocacy, and development programs, but it also conducts commissioned research, provides consultation and training services to governmental and non-governmental organizations on issues of public policy. The Group carries out supportive activities related to its objectives, including publication and dissemination of information, and organizing seminars, conferences. Partners for Rights seeks to become a focal point for regional NGO’s sharing its mission. Partners for Rights members appear frequently on Farsi language media outlets, and are available to give expert guidance to journalists and policy makers concerned with the region.

Partners for Rights is independent of all governments and all political parties. It provides impartial information and analysis about human rights issues relating to the region, and it provides a forum for experts and activists within Iran to make their views known to international human rights mechanisms, foreign governments and multilateral organizations.
The main objectives of the Group are to promote responsible dialogue, democracy, peace and development for all peoples in South West and Central Asia.
